Great question - it depends upon your plumber and your area. Typically the plumber will install it for free.
I prefer my counter top clear and having the unit underneath the sink and a separate preparation faucet.

Great article. An undercounter filter is certainly more attractive than a countertop filter.
My name is Marinko Ostrogonac worked for Nobel company that sells water filters. I want to press charges against the company for fraud Nobel. Many of my family except for the cheated because they have not set a filter. Many people have paid 200 euros and did not buy a filter, but they were afraid that they will sue them if unpaid.
I do not know whether anyone in the world would like to pay something 500-1000 euros and be fooled. I want the whole world know about this. A company that operates so does not need to exist. I write about this with him haveproven .
